With over a decade of design exploration across Los Angeles, Europe, and Australia, Courtney brings a multidisciplinary approach rooted in styling, sensory experience, and emotional connection to interiors.

Bad Rituals emerged over a decade ago during a design sabbatical in Los Angeles - a period of stripping back noise and rediscovering what truly shapes a home. It began as a private practice in curating spaces that reject trends and instead honour memory, meaning, and personal evolution.

Guided by the 6 Senses approach to styling, my work focuses on creating interiors that feel alive - where colour and light converse, objects carry personal narratives, and space holds both function and soul.

The Bad Rituals Design Guide distills this philosophy into a framework: ten considered modules designed to help others create their own version of sanctuary.
